ICE vs Fire Event all weekend at Purple Frog! Feb 3rd and 4th

Night drops bring creatures to your Ragnarok doorstep from the Snow (wolves, Mammoths, Ice wyverns, Ice worms, etc) While Day brings creatures of Lava and Fire (Lava Golems, Fire Wyverns, Mantis, Centipedes, spiders, etc)! Aberration gets hit the weekend after!

- Boosted loot crates and drops, bring creatures of Ice and Fire!
- Chance to take down and unlock the Brood mother and
Megapithicus. (Just be in the area when groups take them down!)
- 300 wild spawns, up to 500 wild Drop/Loot Crate spawns
- Win fantastic prizes for just showing up and playing!
- New players are welcome and will receive a starter package

A guide to events like the Ice Vs Fire or Darkness event. Hopefully these tips help.

* Beacons and Loot crates Spawn every hour and random. They may appear 15 min before the hour, or 15 min after..therefore ALWAYS be prepared.

- Loot quality GIVEN does NOT always equate to the difficulty of the animals spawned. It is the PROBABILITY that has been increased. It is still luck. However, your chances do increase when the difficulty is high.

- Loot crates/beacons are attracted to tames, levels, structures,HP,Quality in that order. The difficulty and occurrence are effected by them. However they can also be totally random. (low level tribes/players should avoid building near bigger tribes during this event)

- Players presence increases loot quality probability and decrease difficulty slightly. Spawns can and will occur regardless if a player never logs on.

- Stone is good but Metal structures are best

- If you see a drop/loot get it quickly, it will cease the spawn.

- Some of the spawned animals can be tamed, enjoy!

- Place animals on neutral if possible, none are completely safe.

- Putting creatures inside is a good idea, but its an even better idea to have interior defenses. Aggressive spawns inside are rare but they do occur. Animals can also glitch in structures sometimes as we all know

- The event can go dormant for a few hours. Try to look at it as an opportunity for the server, the players and the admins to get a break.

- There are sometimes patterns in spawns but they can always change in an instant.

- Turrets and plant X are your friends. Invest in them. This is also a PVP-VE server regardless of our raid patrol. (Dont forget to set on Wild!)

- Raging and excessive complaints can result in a warning kick or ban. We are always learning and tweaking our events and do want to hear your opinions however we ask that you put your suggestions here http://www.mypurplefrog.org/…/suggestion-box-about-anything…
so we can make the events better for all.

I will add to this as I think of more tips for you guys. Thank you so much for your patience and we hope your all having fun!
