I'm not entirely sure. Aesthetics, colors that go well together, difficulty? An example: I would possibly submit the Hulk-inspired Maewing I'm working on. Maewing use all six regions, and I'm working on making all of them the same exact shade of green (83). That takes time, effort, planning, and (most importantly) luck. Getting all six color regions to match is difficult, and the #83 green is a modded color, not a natural one, which means that I would have had to collect the color regions during the events we've had, and at no other time. Bonus points if it's a decent level, since levels can be more difficult to get when you're focusing on colors. (I wouldn't envisions specific stats factoring in, though - that would be more for the other category - giving people who breed for those things rather than color a chance to showcase their critters too). "Overall Best in Show," however, would factor in both colors and stats from the winners of the other categories - which creates incentive to breed at least pretty critters if your main goal is stats, and strong(er) critters if your focus is color.

Gotta limit the contest at least - we can’t transfer dinos between servers, and we can’t have a ‘pageant’ (for lack of better phrasing) on all of them - that’d be excessive and an ungodly amount of work for the admins.

A breeding event with a contest! Give us a week or so with increased breeding capabilities (the works: lowered mating timers, faster gestation, etc), and at the end host a special event where we show off our best results for a chance at prizes! A category for stats, maybe another for colors. Then an overall Best In Show? Two small prizes, one grand prize? (And a limit on how many critters each player can enter to make it more balanced). Grand prize could be Mutagen, too! To keep with the breeding theme.

Those of us wanting to run dino shops often run into the tribe tame limit being an issue. We can't keep out a good stock (or breed) without making things more difficult on our tribe members who want to do either of the same. It also puts a strain on tribing up with friends who have similar interests - and alliances don't offer the same benefits as a tribe does. If it doesn't work out that we can raise the general tame limit on the server without creating issues...is there the possibility of maybe doing it on a more finite basis? An application that must be approved, with only so many permits available? And perhaps a fee to Purple Frog if the application is accepted?

I was wondering if the admin would be willing to host 9pm boss fights during events that include them. I’m on EST, and unfortunately work late and can’t log in until 8:30pm most nights, so I miss a lot of the daytime events. I would love the opportunity to participate more!
