I'm down to add this mod, however can you tell me why the modder would not have done this in the beginning? Hear the mod is already pretty boosted so I fear what it may cause not knowing.

Hello Betes. Thank you for your suggestion in the appropriate place, as opposed to a variable topic general chat that can very quickly digress from your question. Just by doing so you help the community and further help yourself by automatically earning community gold participation for contributing. You can add this gold to your account along with winnings from doing quests, events and more. I state this because community participation and balance is the vital concern of Purple Frog, Not selling Nannies as you mentioned in the general chat. This is an issue of comparing a moderate boosted server vs a high boosted one. Regardless of your statement that using the nanny "is simply a choice", the fact of the matter is that some choices or features will be used regardless. The nanny is one of them. I can list current numerous breeding aids that far detract from the base game that make breeding easier than it ever has been. For example. Mewing's, Incubators, breeding events & more that are non mod associated. However add mods like dino storage and S+.... really getting an imprint is one of the very last things a player has to give the player some accountability to the breeding. Perhaps you are looking for a server that has a mod called auto ARK. This mod would easily give you the features you are looking for. However here at purple frog, breeding is already made more than moderately boosted. Further, to respond to your statement in gen chat about imprint vs dino power....unless you have fought some of our world bosses during major event (non content bosses), you may not understand that this decision about the nanny is more about preserving a tiny bit of the grind, (to which some may actually like) then anything that has to do with what you claim are already "unbalanced" dinos. We provide no wipe longevity servers and have hosted ARK servers since release. Our Ragnarok server is the same one that came out on release. That means some people bases have been maintained for close to seven years on that map. These are the kind of people that we honor by making sure ARK in NOT a game that can be finished in 3 months when it was not intended to do so. We get that it is not for everyone. We have bent to cater to various styles of players over and over, but sorry the nanny goes too far for our community. If it is such an issue to you, then like you told me, you have a choice not to imprint. Didn't you say the power balance for the animals power is moot anyhow? By your reasoning, what is a 15% to 30% imprint bonus? You dont seem to even need it based on your brief assessment of our server. Best of luck to you.

Updates - Beacons will now spawn on the outer fringes of base locations more often and will be capped at level 5k in only rare occasions. Artifacts and King Titan Trophies have been added to the loot. Excessive use of TEK shields may increase the severity of some spawns exponentially no matter what event. Do not use more then two shields. It is too many. *Tips below -225 wild spawns for four days after the main event. *Drops can spawn randomly every 15 min before or after the hour. Tips: What kind of animals can come with beacons/loot crates or spawn in non typical areas? Any Animal specific to Mythology including Phoenix, Unicorns, Centaurs, Ogres etc. What would cause a beacon or loot drop? Beacons are random but can be drawn to dino and structure HP, Age and concentration. Will beacon/Drops spawn in my base or walls? Yes it's possible but now more rare . A few animals (usually passive may spawn inside). Make a group of high health dinos to defend your base to draw the aggro where you want! Is there any other way to get my drops to spawn outside of my base? Yes its possible: Higher HP and older (not recently tamed) animals like Wyverns, Gigas, T-Rex's, are likely to increase the loot quality drops in the base area for the rest of the weekend. Remember to keep them outside of your walls like a sacrifice. - Loot quality GIVEN does NOT always equate to the difficulty of the animals spawned. It is the PROBABILITY that has been increased. It is still luck. However, your chances do increase when the difficulty is high. - Players presence increases loot quality probability and decrease difficulty slightly. Spawns can and will occur regardless if a player never logs on. - Stone is good but Concrete structures are best: Some Mythos Animals can destroy metal, TEK and only a few shields is best. - If you see a drop/loot get it quickly, it will cease the spawn. - Some of the spawned animals can be tamed, enjoy! - Place animals on neutral if possible, few are completely safe. - Putting creatures you want to protect inside is a good idea, but its an even better idea to have interior defenses. Aggressive spawns inside are rare but they do occur. Animals can also glitch in structures sometimes as we all know - The event can go dormant for an hour. Try to look at it as an opportunity for the server, the players and the admins to get a break. - There are sometimes patterns in spawns but they can always change in an instant. TEK Turrets are your friends against most aggro, as well as Groups of anti-mythos creatures. Invest in them. This is also a PVP server regardless of our raid patrol. (Don't forget to set on Wild as well as players and tames to prevent trolls) - Raging and excessive complaints during the event. can result in a ban. We are also learning and tweaking our events. Always been something I have tried to remedy Rhaserion. Since the events are hosted by live players or admins, we are restricted to their time frames. I enjoyed the event you posted the other day for me. Would you be looking to host some events for us by handling the construction of the event, promotions and the enforcement of the rules and instructions? lol If not I understand, it is a lot. However I have some ideas I would like to run by you in chat that you may be able to help with.

Good and bad news, but before I dispense either.....of course everyone in the discord at the time you are there want this mod. There are a handful of other cool mods out there people just cant say no to. However, I do not agree that there is "hardly anything" to decorate these houses and that statement only serves to steer people to what selection your poll suggests. Might as well say, Choose "a" if you want the coolest mod in the world OR choose "b" and be a fool for not choosing the coolest mod out there. lol. Regardless of my opinion of your opening statement, I applaud you for going through the proper channels and promoting something you think is best for the community in the exact right place, and then posting the link so others can chime in. Textbook perfect approach. This is also the place where you can let your hair down and say it like you feel it. Same goes for my replies and that is what is great about the forums. It is also how we progress as a community. Further, the good news here, is that this mod "is" popular and closely themed, and I can close to guarantee that it will reach this map at some point. The bad new's ...I have 3 other animal mods that I must carefully time with the opening of transfers. Those mods are guaranteed to all servers based on the voting that we had some years back stating that we should be flush with all animal mods. Despite what a pain in the ass to admin team and the community. lol Either way Eco RP Decor seems to have a bright future with Fjordur, however regardless of the votes, it may be weeks or even a few months depending on how things flop with mods and dev patch updates to Fjordur. Have done this before and found that people left the server long before then. 5-6 weeks not enough time to build defenses? Further, I think your only familiar with the corrupted event which is the hardest one. The rest in comparison are quite easy for structure damage concerns.

That's really the way of those that want something though is it not? Those that are happy are content and not saying anything. Are you going around an asking ALL peoples opinions, or just keepiong with those that think like you? I personally am open to the mod except when it comes to some of the features that allow players to attack other players more effectively like reading how many bullets are in a turret. That could be a negative that maybe we could tweak no? I have asked admins and others to help me understand without bias, and have received no support and little real objective info, but yea plenty of hearing what is wanted by the individual, who claims is all for the community. Player Celcius has received a 24 hour Ban in discord and Game mute for admin disrespect and breaking a verbal agreement and per rules (before coming back to play), to place suggestions OR disagreements in the suggestion box forums instead of general chat , in game or social media per PFG policy.

We did have it this way, and many people complained because they wanted to transfer their animals to all maps, then voted to do so. lol. Anyhow, I have asked Avitus to shut down those excessive dino spawns months ago, but he has said that he has been unable to due so to the amount of workload it would take, and he has been dealing with personal issues. I have a plan to do it myself but already behind in so many other projects, I am willing to receive help to anyone who wants to learn how to do it at this time, Otherwise, it may have to wait unfortunately. 😞

Looking to do some Pirate ship battle fun in two weeks. The original idea was to do a battle called "Kapt Krunch" where the capt of the ship needs to be a killed a few times. We traditionally use wooden rafts to allow the cannons to be more effective as well as to allow people to participate in a standard pirate themed battle on the high seas, however, we are Pirates of the ARK, and Technology is more advanced, so we could try fighting any kind of ship with some balanced standards.

I hate the fog too, but I am just one voice and can see why people feel that it adds environment, challenge and realism to the map. Perhaps you can start a poll here to see what those who are playing on our servers want. If the setting is available (not sure if it is yet) we can certainly consider this.

Have heard many arguments for AND against this mod. Some against it, say that it would take away the randomness and deplete the surprise element. Some say it takes away from peoples activities in both taming and breeding to reach the same results. Further, Would you be able to present an argument of how this would promote spending more time playing ARK more then other games? Some games are amazing, and people like them better then ARK. But then they finish them quickly, and go back to games like ARK where there is more delayed gratification.. Would this mod get people to end game way too fast? If not, please explain.
